Storyboarding
In any field that uses a visul medium, drawing equals communication. In these final weeks of our semster, we will use sketching to devlop and explain an idea using the drawing techniques we have learned this semster. We will develop thumbnsild drawn of imagination to generate the basic ideas, and then develop a more finished; comps, concept art and story board frames.
This is my Final project.

Canon Cameras EOS 50D
I chose this camera cause of it simple an my introdcution to the DSLR community.
Almost exactly a year after the arrival of the EOS 40D, Canon has announced the 50D, which we're assured will be a sister-model, rather than a replacement. Recent history has seen Canon release new models every 18 months-or-so but it's been a busy year with newcomers such as the Nikon D300 getting a lot of attention in the 40D's keen-amateur/professional segment. The 50D is essentially a 40D body wrapped around a newly-developed 15 megapixel sensor that finally rectifies the situation in which Canon's XXD range trailed the company's entry-level line, in pixel terms. Canon is claiming that the new sensor's design (new manufacturing processes, redesigned photo diodes and micro lenses) mean that despite the higher resolution image noise has improved, something we'll be putting to the test later.
The other big change is the inclusion of a new, high-resolution LCD screen. 920,000 dots mean that it can convey 640 x 480 RGB pixels, making it effectively a VGA standard monitor. Three anti-reflection layers built into the screen do their best to keep it useable in bright conditions, too.
There are various other changes and added features, with many of them stemming from the first appearance of the Canon's Digic 4 processor. The key differences between the 50D and 40D are detailed.
The fact is Canon is the best Camera on the market.
All the best

Knaack Tool chest
Since 1960 Knack tool box has been the safe guard of every job site or modern tool worker.
On some mornings back in 1960, Howard Knaack would interrupt his milk route deliveries for Cary Dairy to have breakfast with two friends. These friends needed a reliable source for "ready-made" jobsite boxes. One morning, they decided it was time to talk Howard into a business opportunity in the sheet metal fabrication business in order to supply their construction supply house with the jobsite boxes they needed. Together they formed Knaack LLC. From there it took off.

I chose Knack box to store my own personal storage tool boxes. From storing my personal items, camera, laptops, watch, and accountable items. Knack is the best fireproof and secure storage item on the market. It has swivel wheels to move around in solid floor with handles on either side. Fork lifting grab points. Yes over the years I have valuable tool items. As a senior mechanic, machinist, and certified welder. This box did travel with me wherever I was stationed. So I have the right tool, for the right job. Very lock proof.

Anne Frank Museum
I know I had an medical appointment while everyone went to the De Young Museum. I am making a visit to a museum that touched me a year and half ago.
I choose Anne Frank Museum. You can see web address below.
While I was recovering from wounds on my right eye!
I went to the meditation room to pray. Picked up literature about Anne Frank.... I was aware of her accomplishments in High School and grammar school. But not reading it carefully.
The literature that I could read from my left eye. About Anne Frank. She was an Artist and a positive person. Her picture caught my attention while I was sick. After looking over her literature. I broke down and cried! And clearly understood her and my circumstances that I was going thru. Where her writings made feel hope. Too pull thru my ordeal.
Anne Frank is a inspiration pulling thru rough times. Today she is my Facebook friend.

Interview with Associate Director of AAU School of Photography Kirk Amyx
I had the privilege and honor to meet with Kirk Amyx, Associate Director of the Academy of Art University School of Photography, for an interview on the morning of 5 May 2011. Since my major is photography, I was interested to hear about Kirk's history as a photographer, his association with the department and his thoughts on the future of the medium.
How did you get this job? Your story!
Kirk started out as part time instructor in 2004, while working full time professionally.
In 2006, he left for a couple of years to earn his Master's Degree at San Jose State University, but kept in touch with his associates at AAU.
Kirk realized that he had a real passion for teaching and saw an opportunity in the academic sphere with his knowledge of DSLR (digital single lens reflect) technology that was fast becoming the cutting edge of the industry. His DSLR skills and his connection with AAU led to his current position as Associate Director.
What made you get into photography? What made you stick with it?
Kirk's been a photographer all his life. When he was in grammar school, he decided to do some photojournalism during the pledge of allegiance which earned him a trip to the Principal's office. However, Kirk persisted and by age twelve had his own darkroom and before graduating from high school, he made the decision to be a professional photographer.
What are your recommendations for the first semester level photographers who are struggling?
I think it's important to develop a network of friends and supporters who can give a student a sense of belonging and also help out with studies and making career contacts. Ask your instructor personally or privately by e-mail for help or instruction. ARC (academic resource center) is great, as well. Social networking on the AAU Facebook page within your field can be a good way to meet people with similar interests and might eventually lead to professional connections.
What are the Photography Department's plans for the future?
24 inch monitors in the labs. New Printers with larger color gamuts are coming into the labs. Color garments printers. Video and photography are combining, but photography will always have a place as a storytelling medium and as an art form. Technology is happening so fast, our challenge is to stay current and relevant.
In closing, Kirk and I really agree that photography is changing very rapidly and that today's camera will have to be upgraded within three years of purchase. This is becoming a world of spectacle and sight, the old media based on the printed word is being replaced by a new and international language of image. To be part of this revolution in communications is exciting and motivating.

LA 151 Fall spring 2011
When I first entered LA 151 I was bit apprehensive. But giving the benefit of the doubt. I carried out my prescribe class with Academy of Art University school advisor that instructed for me attend.
This class made me more organized and aware of faults in being a full time student. I feel it has been an Academic journey. Where you learn about yourself. And your obligation to the school you attend. With world events, political correctness, art history, GPA (grade point average), presentation, student resource center, deadlines, being on time, and course with people who have interest and no interest.
LA 151 has been eye opener. Not only school, but what you are capable of doing. With everyone opinion and input We agree on something.
"We are biggest enemy"!
